The Voice US season 2 recently ended. The Voice UK is on going while American Idol will have its finale next week…
And because we just can’t get enough of reality-singing contests so here comes the other popular talent show: THE X FACTOR.

Lately, X factor has been all over the news especially with its updates regarding who the judges mentors this year will be. If you are pinoy like me living either in Manila-Philippines, US or UK, consider ourselves lucky! because this year we will have the chance to witness 3 different versions of The X factor!
Philippines will start its first franchise this June 2012 via the Kapamilya network: ABS-CBN while the US and UK will simultaneously begin in the later months.
let us talk about the MENTORS!
Last year even before the US X factor started, it already created so much buzz due to its last minute axing changes on the panel (from Cheryl Cole to Nicole S.) and when it ended more changes axing was made! (Fired: Nicole S. and Paula Abdul) The UK version had its own share as well…Simon C. left- because of the US version, Cheryl C.- left then fired because of the US Version-and then ask to return to UK but declined, and Dannii Minogue- had a conflict of schedule due to Aussie Got Talent. They were all replaced by Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Kelly Rowland respectively. In the Philippines, because its the first year, everyone’s excited and eager to know who the mentors are.
MENTORS REVEALED!
…and so now the news are out and a lot of latest updates have been circulating online! here are the confirmed and speculations for this year’s X Factor!
US

Simon Cowell (confirmed)
L.A Reid (confirmed)
Britney Spears (semi-confirmed)
Demi Lovato (semi- confirmed)
UK

Gary Barlow (confirmed)
Louis Walsh (confirmed)
Tulisa (semi-confirmed)
No fourth judge yet after Kelly Rowland’s exit but Katy Perry, Dannii Minogue (returning) and Alesha Dixon are all on the running…
Philippines

Gary Valenciano (confirmed)
Martin Nievera (confirmed)
Pilita Corales (confirmed)
Charice (confirmed)
…so what do you think about the line up of mentors-judges? do you like it or preferred someone else?
My T: Personally, US- I only question Demi Lovato- not so much experience. UK and Philippines- I believe they all proven their worth. Over all it will be an exciting season, can’t wait!
